We got to the junction with the wood place, it had been interesting walking so far, you see far more on foot. Not quite sure what this place is, outside there is a sign asking for DOUGHNATIONS OF WOOD, NO NAILS and there are skips of wood out back. Weird. We were quite dispirited and walked into town discussing our options still in the pouring rain. It was quite slippery on the tiled pavements until we got under the verandas in town.
It was now lunchtime so we had a meal at a cafe on the main street. Mum had rather fancied the post office but it was closed. We sat outside under the veranda and indulged in some people watching
